How long does it take for kids to swim independently

There is no "one size fits all" here, and every child learns at their own pace. The speed at which a child learns will depend on how many classes they attend weekly, their age, diagnosis, and unique needs. Our coaches are most focused on building trust and rapport, and the progress will follow!
Does your team know how to work through significant behavior challenges?

Yes. Most traditional swim schools actually refer kids to us for our knowwledge & expirtese in managing behavior effectively. We are huge on collaborating with our families and any outside therapists who know your child best. From there, we can create a behavior plan that meets your child's needs to have a successful swim lesson.
Do you guys offer "drop in" classes?

We do not offer refunds.
Can parents go in the water during lessons?

While there are some cases where we do allow this, it is not our typical practice. We allow parents to sit on the pool deck the first 2 classes to ensure the coach is a good fit for their child, and then we transition parents into the waiting room where they can watch the class from there. This allows the child to truly build a bond and trust with their coach! However, in cases of extreme separation anxiety, water trauma, or medically fragile kids, we do make exceptions as needed.
Do you only work with special needs children?

Yes, we only work with individuals with special needs.
Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately, no insurance companies cover swim lessons of any kind. However, some insurances will cover aquatic therapy performed by an OT or PT, but these sessions are focused around physical development versus water safety skills. We do not offer aquatic therapy.
